Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wood Buffalo is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors. We are so honoured at the commitment and dedication of these individuals who provide invaluable support an experience to our organization.
Are you looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young people in Wood Buffalo? Join our Board of Directors! We are particularly looking for individuals with experience in:
- Board Leadership
- Accounting/Financing
- Human Resources
- Fund Development
But most importantly, we are looking for those with a passion for supporting children and youth through life-changing mentoring programs! The Board meets monthly (with a break over the summer months), typically on the second Wednesday of the month for approximately two hours. Board members are asked to participate in different committees and support our staff at community events and fundraisers, depending on their capacity and availability.
