On behalf of all of us at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wood Buffalo, thank you for your generous donation to our 18th Annual Rubber Duck Race Fundraiser that took place on September 3rd, 2018. The fundraiser was a great success with over 400 people in attendance. Together we proudly raised $20,019.84 as contributing community members, corporate owners/managers, and union members. The love and support that you have shown will open up many great opportunities to our growing child and youth mentoring programs. We here at BBBSWB know first hand that “when a child has a mentor, the odds they will be emotionally, socially, and physically healthy increases dramatically. And when we have happy, healthy young people in our communities, everyone benefits”. So again, we thank you for not only supporting BBBSWB, but also for investing in the Wood Buffalo community as a whole.
